Finally!
I've gotten my photos back and am slowly organizing them. The first album, Zanzibar 2005, is available on my Yahoo! site.

Great photos! I loved the picture of the children on the steps - that's my favourite.
The details behind the door design were really interesting (chain motif, brass studs to deter elephants) I bet there were a lot of little details like that throughout the city that you would see if you look closely, and that tell a subtle story about the times in which they were built.
The views from the "House of Wonders" looked spectacular! I'd love to see a closeup of one of those mahogany sailboats (that just seems to defy the laws of gravity ;-))

You did it and Mom and I are so proud of you. The photos are excellent, so are your descriptions. Highest "mountain" I ever climbed was only about 11,000 ft asl - I don't remember if it even had a name. We can't wait to hear the rest. Love you.
