The final frontier, or the last straw

The United States has retooled its space policy for the first time in a decade to reassert its dominion over the heavens. We already knew that King George II feels he's been chosen by God, but now he wants to wield His power over the universe, by deciding who does and who does not get a golden ticket into outer space? To quote the policy itself, the US will "take those actions necessary to protect its space capabilities; respond to interference; and deny, if necessary, adversaries the use of space capabilities hostile to U.S. national interests."
Thank you America, for making the universe a safer place. You know, like Baghdad is now.
