Take that, Autotune

Not being much of a singer, I can only imagine harmonizing with oneself to be difficult, since the voice we hear coming from our own mouths is never quite what we hear in playback. At least not in my experience.

Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah (my favourite song) as performed by Miss Courtney Woolsey, Miss Courtney Woolsey, and Miss Courtney Woolsey, with guitar accompaniment by Raquel.

Rufus Wainright's cover of Hallelujah is definitely at the top of my list.

Oh, and refering to one of your older posts... you should check out Sometimes (I wish), Comin' Home and Off By Heart by City and Colour.

I think you might really like Day Old Blues by Kings of Leon, oh and anything by Great Lake Swimmers, but especially Moving Pictures, Silent Films and I Could Be Nothing. You should really give them a listen... they're wonderful on rainy days... and lord knows we've had plenty of those lately.
